Reconciling the need for dense, vertical living spaces within cities trying to negotiate the preservation of their historical identity is a universal across continents, but is particularly the case in European cities spanning millennia like Paris, Rome and London. In this session, experts from European cities in the center of this discourse—between skyline and scale, materiality and maximization—share their experience in the region, conveying the projects and innovations that are defining a high-rise typology that is distinctly responsive to its context.
